A big thank you to Key Food for providing all the trays of delicious food at the Taste of Valley Stream event on May 15, 2025! The variety and quality were outstanding and enjoyed by our volunteer firefighters, the Fire Chief, and the community. I've been shopping at this particular Key Food for the past 7 years since I moved to the neighborhood, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of fresh produce, quality meats, and everyday essentials. The management and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Their commitment to customer service and community is evident in every visit. One small suggestion would be to add a bit more lighting in certain areas to enhance the shopping experience. Highly recommend this supermarket to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant shopping experience!

Nice clean grocery. The only objection would be the cleared at check out was not friendly and gave me a look of disgust when I asked him a question.

I like the Italian bread that comes in the 2 loaves in a bag. A good savings price. Further down the aisle where the fruits and vegetables are you have to look down below in a cubby where fruit is reduced and in a bag and each bag is only 99 cents. Sometimes the fruit is over Right but many other times there is nothing wrong with it other than maybe a small Dent or a blemish but for 99 cents for a bag of fruit you can't go wrong.

Store is amazing , clean aisles , boars head food fresh but pricey be careful . I never had an issue , i enjoy shopping here , its 2026 dont pay attention to reviews thats years old . This Review is recent Feb 27th , 2026 . Ideal food basket is one of my favorites on Hillside by 179th street

I had a great experience. The supermarket is always very clean, well-organized, and up to date. One of my favorite things about this store is the hot food section. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. You can tell that care is taken to maintain quality, and there is always a good variety of options available.
